Bring Your Yard to Life

When it comes to your outdoor living area, a healthy-looking lawn can actually be on the verge of disaster; with mainstream fertilizers from big box stores destroying the natural biology that keeps it healthy. But Rachio is different. It supports your yards natural ecosystem, conserving water, keeping it healthy and drought resistant and actually saving you money. With Rachio, you bring your yard to life. Literally.

We recreated the classic folk song “The green grass grows all around”— reworking the lyrics to reinforce how the product works and the consumer benefit. And paired it with vibrant visuals of a customers’ yard that’s full of life—both human and otherwise.

The campaign was supported by a series of fifteen second cutdowns, parallax product videos for, a library of new brand photography and an updated website.

We worked with one of our favorite director partners Elizabeth Orne to create a stylized world with a cast of characters you can’t take your eyes off of.

This warm, summery spot was actually more challenging than you might think. It was actually shot just before the first snow at the end of October. We used some bright lights and tough-as-nails actors to pass off the drizzly 40 degree day as a warm summer afternoon. We even employed real-life butterflies and ladybugs to help tell the story.
